The Brake the Cycle of Poverty Team is back from their third annual bike tour around Connecticut on June 26th, 2006. After a week of pedaling around the state, meeting people in poverty, raising awareness to others, and meeting with lawmakers, the team rolled into a Habitat for Humanity housing site in Hartford on Friday June 30, 2006. Hartford Mayor Eddie Perez, Joseph Lieberman, and Archbishop Henry Mansel, among other dignitaries, were present at the finale and spoke towards the problem of poverty in Connecticut.
