Pam Carmel Email Pam Here Pam is a Special Education teacher in Vernon. She is married with 2 sons, ages 17 and 15. She enjoys running, swimming and working with children. She is a member of St. Bridget Parish in Manchester. Why is Pam participating? After being involved in St. Bridget School and Church activities, I felt it was time to get more involved in what was happening in our communities. Brake the Cycle of Poverty seemed to be this opportunity. As an educator, I know how poverty can impact students and their families’ lives. I am looking forward to being educated on all aspects of poverty and in turn being able to increase the awareness of poverty in our state.
